1. Data Minimization & Local Processing

SpaceGlow is designed with a "Local First" philosophy. Most of the heavy lifting and data analysis performed by our app happens directly on your device:

• Photo & Video Analysis: All scanning for duplicates, similar photos, screenshots, and large videos is performed locally on your iPhone using on-device machine learning and processing. We do not upload your photos or videos to any servers.
• Contact & Calendar Data: Merging duplicate contacts and finding expired calendar events is done locally using iOS system APIs.
• Email Cleanup: When you connect your email, the scanning and categorization process happens locally. We do not store your email credentials or your email content on our servers.

2. Data We Collect

While we prioritize local processing, we may collect minimal data to provide and improve our services:

• Subscription Data: We use RevenueCat to manage our Pro subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect transaction information and anonymous user identifiers to verify your subscription status across devices.
• Technical Data: We may collect anonymous crash reports and basic usage statistics (e.g., which features are used most) to improve the app's performance. This data does not identify you personally.

3. Permissions

To provide its core functionality, SpaceGlow requires your permission to access certain system data. These permissions are requested only when needed:

• Photo Library: To scan for duplicates, similar images, and manage storage.
• Contacts: To identify and merge duplicate entries.
• Calendar: To find and remove expired events.
• Face ID / Touch ID: To secure your Secret Vault (credentials are handled securely by the iOS Secure Enclave).

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. We only share data with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our app (like RevenueCat for payments), as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.

5. Security

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your information. Your Secret Vault is protected by system-level biometric authentication, ensuring that only you can access your hidden content.

6. Children's Privacy

Our app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
